Adaptive Agriculture Solutions Inc (“Adaptive Ag”), a Canadian Agriculture technology company, has announced the unveiling of its new smart grain bin controller “Bindapt+” at the Ag in Motion outdoor farm Expo today. Bindapt+ is an advanced heater control system that allows the adaptation of indirect fired heaters for the purpose of adding supplemental heat to grain bins, aiding the grain drying process. Bindapt+ offers a significant web based improvement on Adaptive Ag’s original “Bindapt” thermostat that falls into its Internet of Things (“IOT”) products and solutions for 2019.
Adaptive Ag is recognized as part of the Innovations Program celebrating the latest innovations in the Saskatchewan Agriculture industry for being a company with a new technology to assist farmers.
“We are excited in the evolution to Bindapt+ from our Bindapt Line of grain drying solutions," says lead product developer Dustin Maki. “The Bindapt+ controller allows the user to see and control the heater in real time on their smartphone and computer by reading static pressure values of any aeration fan, and couple it with the correct amount of safe heat. The Bindapt+ system also allows the farmer to plug into standard moisture and heat grain monitoring cables to tell the farmer when the grain is dry.“
The efficiencies of the new Bindapt+ IOT line allow realtime data analysis in a customized grain drying solution based on the type of grain and conditions inside the bin. The Bindapt+ system can be positioned for continuous grain monitoring year round.
Adaptive Ag is also showcasing their universally adaptable Bin Transition Aeration fan Adapter Plates and custom engineered ductwork at the show which made them popular for the 2018 harvest. Adaptive Ag is accepting pre-orders of its IOT devices at the Ag in Motion Expo to prepare for the 2019 harvest in the upcoming months.
